As an interdisciplinary artist I combine installation, video, performance and ready-made art. I work with the themes of alienation and multimateriality, together with the themes of tactility and bodily affect. I deal with the questions of contemporary life and societal issues through humor and absurdity. As an artist I want to expand the medium of video – I aim to create tactile media art spaces where the objects in the image of the video leak into the space.
In my work I bring the body and other materials together, and explore bodily affects with the help of mundane objects. The center of my work is the body and its tangibility. I see my own body as a material, and my sense of touch as a tool. I am curious about how various materials, such as video or tactile objects, affect the way the body exists in a space – how it senses, and how it acts.
